Born in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Graduated as an architect from Francisco Marroquín University and studied Art restoration in Florence, Italy. In 1996 she co-founded a Laboratory for the Preservation, Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art in Guatemala. In 2006 she started with Alejandro Piegatto, as an artist, she is in charge of the fibers and textile department of Piegatto. She works with organic materials, creating and complementing beautiful patterns, design objects such as lamps and three dimensional geometric figures made with threads.
