Tentis was born out of the need to strengthen and drive the Central American identity. We aim to promote our culture and traditions by creating characters inspired by the oral traditions of our villages. Tentis covers different areas and is inspired by their people and popular tales. From these tales, Tentis aims to revive these mythological characters by materializing them and taking them to new generations with the help of craftsmen.  

The brand gathers momentum upon asking ‘What is going to happen when our grandparents are no longer around to tell us the tales and legends of our towns?’, seeing that there is such value behind each and every one of them.

Tentis nace a partir de las necesidad de fortalecer e impulsar la identidad centroamericana, promoviendo nuestra cultura y tradiciones a través de personajes artesanales inspirados en la tradición oral de los pueblos. Tentis recorre distintos sitios inspirándose en su gente y en sus leyendas populares. A partir de estos relatos, Tentis revive los personajes mitológicos para poder materializarlos y llevarlos a las nuevas generaciones con el apoyo de artesanos.

La marca toma impulso al preguntarse ¿Qué va a pasar cuando nuestro abuelos ya no estén para poder contar sus historias y leyendas de los pueblos?, ya que existe un gran valor detrás de cada una de ellas.
